Playa del Viejo Reyes

Playa del Viejo Reyes is one of those wild corners of Fuerteventura that truly takes your breath away. Located on the western coast of the island, near La Pared, this kilometer-long beach stretches out with fine sand and powerful waves that attract surfers of all levels. What makes this spot special is its practically untouched natural environment: imposing cliffs, petrified dunes, and that spectacular contrast between the volcanic rocks and the intense blue of the Atlantic.

Access is easy by car, with free parking at the top of the cliff where the views alone are worth the visit. To reach the beach, there are paths through the rocks, though when the sea is rough, access may be restricted for safety. Many visitors choose to stay up top, especially at sunset, when the place transforms into a magical setting. It's perfect for disconnecting, practicing surf, or simply contemplating nature in its purest form, far from the mass tourism of other areas of the island.
