The University of La Laguna opened again its doors, as independent university in 1927. The acroissement of the studies and the faculties in the necessity of building a new building. The Central building of the University of La Laguna (ULL) was begun by 1944, being officially inaugurated in 1953. The institution is divided at present into six differents students campus: the Power plant, Anchieta, Guajara, Ofra, Santa Cruz and Campus of the South.
